Heart: 16 biomarkers

Cholesterol / HDL Ratio (2x) Tested twice a year, this measures the ratio of total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol, important for assessing heart disease risk.

HDL Large Large HDL particles protect against heart disease by reducing the risk of plaque buildup in arteries.

LDL Cholesterol (2x) Tested twice a year, this "bad" cholesterol can cause artery plaque buildup if levels are too high, increasing cardiovascular disease risk.

LDL Particle Number Measures the number of LDL particles in the blood; too many can lead to plaque buildup in arteries and heart disease.

LDL Peak Size Assesses the average size of LDL particles; smaller particles are more likely to contribute to artery plaque buildup.

Lipoprotein (a) A genetic marker for heart disease risk, especially useful for those with symptoms or a family history of cardiovascular issues.

Non-HDL Cholesterol (2x) Tested twice a year, this measures all cholesterol that is not HDL, indicating risk for cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome.

Triglycerides (2x) Tested twice a year, this measures fat levels in the blood; high levels increase the risk of heart disease.

Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) A key transporter of lipids in the blood, serving as a powerful marker for cardiovascular disease risk.

HDL Cholesterol (2x) Tested twice a year, HDL is the "good" cholesterol, helping reduce heart disease risk by removing bad cholesterol from the bloodstream.

High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) (2x) Tested twice a year, hsCRP levels indicate inflammation, which is linked to heart disease, diabetes, and other major illnesses.

LDL Medium Measures medium-sized LDL particles; elevated levels are linked to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.

LDL Pattern Assesses cardiovascular risk based on LDL particle patterns, either Pattern A (less risky) or Pattern B (more risky).

LDL Small Small LDL particles increase the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.

Lipoprotein Fractionation Analyzes the size and number of lipoprotein particles to assess coronary artery disease risk, especially useful for those with a family history of heart issues.

Total Cholesterol (2x) Tested twice a year, this measures overall cholesterol levels to assess heart disease risk. High levels can damage arteries and increase the risk of stroke and heart disease.

*Important Note: The list of tests included in our program is subject to change based on wholesale pricing adjustments. We strive to maintain low costs and continually improve our testing options. However, certain tests may need to be removed due to market fluctuations. The slideshow below provides a general depiction of available testing, and any updates will be communicated to you during your consult.
*Additional Screening Options: Some tests depicted in the slideshow, such as advanced screenings for Alzheimer's and Cancer Detection, and other laboratory tests shown, are not included in the base $500 program but can be added on at the best prices we've negotiated. These additional tests are typically noted by an asterisk (*) in the slideshow. If you have interest in these add-ons, you can inquire about them during your telehealth consult.
